Cre8tek takes Simplewire's ground-breaking electrical system from concept to production

Startup Simplewire has chosen Cre8tek to handle the production of their innovative system for the electrical installation industry.

Simplewire is the name of a Danish start-up that has developed a digital marking system for electrical installations that can replace analog labels and stickers. The goal is to reduce the risk of human error and make it easier to identify and repair electrical systems.

Cre8tek helped Simplewire optimize the mechanical design and was responsible for testing, quality assurance and production of the system's devices, while Simplewire took care of the electronics and software.

Simplewire CEO Sasha Beck praises Cre8tek's high level of service:

- I think we have received exceptional service, which I think is because they also believe in us as a startup. It has surprised me a lot that we as a small startup have received such personalized service from a company with 200+ employees, Sasha Beck points out.

Cre8tek breaks down cultural barriers and makes collaboration safe

Cre8tek's Danish/Chinese ownership and presence has created a business model with fewer cultural barriers. Customers can more easily communicate directly with production in China, where Cre8tek's CEO in China, Yilin Pei, is ready to handle international customers:

- I've been working with European companies since 2001 and have a strong focus on making new customers feel safe and comfortable using us, even if we are based in China.

It's also something that Sasha Beck recognizes:

- Because Pei has lived in Denmark and is very open, the collaboration has been much easier. And being able to talk directly to Pei has meant that the decision-making processes have been really efficient because Pei has the experience he has, but also because he sits directly at the factory and is part of the entire development process.

Mutual trust has been crucial

In addition to the direct communication, Sasha Beck also points out that good chemistry and trust have had a positive influence on the collaboration:

- It's a collaboration and a relationship that I don't think we would find many other places. And yes, it's incredibly efficient. We don't have to double-check everything when we leave something to Cre8tek, so sometimes we can just look at the result.

Yelin Pei agrees with Sasha Beck that mutual trust has been crucial:

The two partners are making some minor adjustments, and then Sasha Beck is looking forward to putting development on the shelf for a while and pressing the big 'production button' at the production partner:
